THE JOURNEY
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL DAY
You will embark on an exciting journey to Bocas Del Toro. Our representative will pick you up from your Panama City hotel and accompany you to the Domestic Airport for a short 1-hour flight to Isla Colón. Upon arrival, your local guide will be waiting to take you to your hotel. After settling in, we’ll venture across Isla Colon, passing through picturesque villages and lush rainforests, until we reach the serene Starfish Beach in Boca de Drago.
Enjoy the turquoise waters, palm-lined shores, and mangrove forests. We’ll also visit the famous Bird Island to catch a glimpse of the rare red-billed tropicbird. Indulge in a Caribbean-style lunch and explore local artisans before returning to downtown Isla Colon.


DAY 2 – DISCOVER THE BOCAS DEL TORO ARCHIPELAGO
Day 2 of our Bocas Del Toro Archipelago exploration begins at Isla Colon, the vibrant capital city of Bocas del Toro Province. Our first stop is the picturesque bay of Bocatorito on San Cristobal Island, known as a mangrove nursery for bottlenose dolphins and their adorable calves.
Afterward, we set sail to Crawl Cay, where you can dive into the warm Caribbean Sea and immerse yourself in the diverse coral reefs, surrounded by an array of multicolored fish.
Following the underwater adventure, treat yourself to a delectable Caribbean style lunch. We then continue our journey through the enchanting mangrove islands of Bastimentos National Park, leading us to the trailhead for a scenic 20-minute walk to the renowned Red Frog Beach. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Strawberry Poison Dart Frog (Oophaga Pumilio), a unique species found exclusively on this island.

DAY 3 – CACAO – AN OLD AND NEW CURRENCY FROM AMERICA
Today is our adventure is dedicated to the fascinating world of cacao, an ancient and contemporary currency from the Americas. We’ll embark on a journey to the bay of Bocatorito and the enchanting Island of San Cristobal to visit a local cacao farm.
Stroll through the plantation as our knowledgeable guide unveils the intricacies of cacao production in Bocas Del Toro. Discover the advantages and challenges of cultivating cacao and its remarkable byproducts. Delve into the history of cacao, once used as a currency by the Pre-Columbian Natives and now celebrated as a delicacy by chocolate enthusiasts worldwide.
